About Us

CoolAAStuff.com is maintained by an AA with over 23 years of sobriety.

My name is Peter B and by the grace of God I am a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous and have been since November 1, 1986.

I got sober in the Rye-Harrison Group of AA in Westchester County New York and after 7 years moved to Charlotte NC. With over 350 meetings a week in the Charlotte area, there's always an opportunity to get a meeting.

I have had the pleasure of being a part of starting two different groups. I have a sponsor (with over 44 years of sobriety) who is a positive example of service work in action. I have been very fortunate to have good sponsorship over my time in AA and the pleasure of sponsoring many men over the years including 6 right now.Its great to see them carry the message to other people and how this program continues to work - one alcoholic to another.

I firmly believe that AA is stronger now than it has ever been. With the Big Book's Fourth Edition printed in over 40 languages, we have entered a new age. The preface now states that we are connected "modem to modem" and with the advent of AA internet chat rooms and getting speaker tapes for your iPod, we AA's are more connected than ever. I am thankful that I can be a part of AA in such an amazing time.

Part of what I have learned over the last 23 years is a ""can do" attitude and the spirit of never giving up. I have launched this website to create an opportunity for members to be able to find merchandise that focuses on the principles and ideals that keep us sober.

These designs were created by wife and myself because I was unable to find positive messages that celebrate the ideals that I hold true. You can always find a shirt that celebrates a pop star or celebrity but how often do you find one that is "Higher Power" inspired?

I hope that our designs make you smile as much as they do for me.
